Industries We Build For
A website's job changes completely depending on the business behind it. A trades site is a phone call funnel, a clinic site is a booking system wrapped in trust, and a restaurant site is a menu that has to stay true in four places at once. These are the industries we have worked in enough to say something specific about.

Industry pages
- Restaurants and cafés. Websites, online ordering, reservations and digital menu boards, run off one set of content so the wall and the phone cannot disagree.
- Trades and contractors. A trades website has one job: turn a person with a problem into a phone call in under a minute. Shinobi Media builds sites for Ottawa plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, roofers, landscapers and general contractors, and does the Google Business Profile work that actually decides whether you get found at all.
- Clinics and practices. Health practices are judged on trust before anything else, and a website is usually where that judgement happens. Shinobi Media builds sites for Ottawa dental offices, physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics, medical aesthetics and wellness practices, with booking that works, accessibility that meets Ontario's obligations, and privacy handled rather than hoped about.
- Law firms. Legal search is among the most competitive and most expensive search there is, and it is won on depth rather than on design. Shinobi Media builds sites for Ottawa firms and solo practitioners: a practice area page per matter type, content that answers the questions clients actually type, and intake that filters before it reaches you.
- Salons and spas. A salon website is a booking funnel with photographs attached. Shinobi Media builds sites for Ottawa hair salons, barbershops, nail and lash studios, day spas and medical aesthetics clinics, with booking that works on a phone, a portfolio that sells the work, and the local search presence that fills the chair.
- Real estate. Every agent in Ottawa has the same brokerage-issued website, which is precisely why none of them rank. Shinobi Media builds agent and brokerage sites with the thing the template cannot give you: neighbourhood content nobody else has written, listing presentation you control, and a lead path that belongs to you.
- Auto shops. Shinobi Media builds sites for Ottawa mechanics, independent repair shops, tire shops and detailers. The working demo on this site is a parts-aware booking engine we built to show what is possible: a customer picks the vehicle and the service, and the shop gets a booking it can actually schedule.
Not listed here?
These are the sectors we can speak about concretely rather than the limit of what we build. We deliberately do not publish a page per industry for its own sake, because a page that could have been written about any trade by find-and-replace helps nobody and drags down the ones that are real. If your industry is not here, the process and the quote are unchanged.

Frequently asked questions
Why does an industry page matter more than a general services page?
Because the search has the industry in it. Somebody looking for help does not search "web design", they search "website for a plumber in Ottawa" or "restaurant menu boards Ottawa". A page written for that trade, using that trade's own words and dealing with that trade's actual problems, matches the search and converts the visitor. A general services page matches neither.
Do you only work with these industries?
No. These are the ones we have worked in enough to say something specific about, which is why they have their own pages. We build for businesses in plenty of sectors that are not listed here, and the process is the same. If your industry is not on the list it changes nothing about the quote.
Is the work different for each industry?
The build is similar; what changes is what the site has to do. A trades site is a phone call funnel. A clinic site is a booking system with trust content around it. A law firm site is a content library. Getting that job right is most of the difference between a site that works and a site that merely exists.
Can you beat a quote from an agency that specialises in my industry?
Yes, and the specialisation is worth taking seriously when you compare. Send the written proposal, we match the scope line for line and come back under it in writing. If their industry knowledge is genuinely worth the difference, we will say so. Call (613) 800-8028 or email info@shinobimedia.ca.
